理查德·克莱德曼,著名钢琴家, 1953年出生于法国巴黎。5岁开始习琴，6岁时被誉为天才，随即进入巴黎国立音乐戏剧学院学习。16岁开始演奏自作曲。1977年，独奏《水边的阿狄丽娜》，引起轰动。1990年，以《致艾德琳之诗》获得世界上惟一的金钢琴奖。

It has been nearly 10 years since Richard Clayderman's last major album and this 'Romantique' relaunch album doesn't disappoint. All the tracks, bar 'Ballade Pour Adeline' which benefits from the remastering, are new. Highlight tracks are 'Spartacus' - the orchestration is wonderful, West Side Story Medley which is not only melodious but full of rhythm, Montagues And Capulets - better known in the Uk as the theme from 'The Apprentice', Someone Like You - such a lovely melody and Schindler's List.
